After Hours Tumbling2

Challenge 4
After the school day has ended and the glorious bell rings, someone turns the big brass handle to freedom it’s time for competitive gymnastics. Wednesday and Friday I spend my nights on beam, bars, vault and floor- and who could forget the torturous conditioning for an hour and the deadly splits for 3 min each leg. When I come home after 4 hours of training I’m no longer human … I’m considered a bowl of spaghetti.

Even though your exhausted when you come home, you realized you have just had an amazing time with your second family. Yes I call them my second family because a family that sweats, bleeds and chalks up together stays together!

The reason we have such intense training is because later in the year we have competitions. Going to competitions make me so nervous and scared. But when I am on the floor about to do my floor routine the feeling is- well one of the best experiences of my life. After the awards (good or bad) my team usually goes out for supper or my mother and I grab a box of pizza (and of course lots of chocolate) and make the journey back home!

In high school next year I plan on becoming a cheerleader so my scedule might change derastically. From early morning practices from training at night I’m going to be so sore!

That’s all for now!

Hi, Alexandra! I’m Molly! You were right! We must be twins! I don’t do gymnastics, but I’m a dancer! I’ve always wanted to try gymnastics, but I’m terrified to death of back handsprings and aerials! Are they hard? I’d love to learn! My goal for this year is to get my aerial though, I’m working really hard! I totally understand what you mean, every night when I come home, my muscles are literally crying! But I have so much fun its worth it! My dance studio is also like a second family to me! What’s your favorite trick to do? Drop by my blog and leave me a comment, I’ve posted some new things! Here’s my URL: http://2017mmr.edublogs.org/ Bye for now!
    -Molly(:
